Lime oil
is obtained by water steam distillation of the lime fruits. The yield with this extraction is between 1,2 % and 2,1 %. The lime gelongs to the class of citrus fruits and can reach a height of 10 meters. It is spread in the Mediterranean region, Brazil and on the West Indies.
