It can be contained in a variety of products such as sunscreen, soap, shampoo or applied directly to the skin.

The palm tree is a plant native to the Amazon rainforest and grows up to 25 metres high. The stone fruits are rich in high-quality oil (8 - 10%). 

The oil is traditionally used by the peoples living in the Amazon to treat cough and bronchitis, as a cosmetic product or in fried foods.
