Bornyl acetate
is the acetic acid ester of the terpene Borneol. It belongs to the active ingredient family of essential oils and has a natural occurence in conifers (firs, spruces, pines), magnolias or chaste tree.
Bornyl acetate is a white, crystalline substance which melts at 25 - 29 °C to a colourless liquid.
